These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to the MV Essential Membership or MV Advanced Membership (“Membership”) offered by Maison Vets Ltd.

Overview
Our Memberships offer routine and preventative care at a discounted price. The specific veterinary services and benefits available under the Membership are set out on our website.
Our Memberships are not insurance products. They do not provide financial reimbursement or transfer the risk of unforeseen veterinary costs to a third party.
Eligibility
Memberships are available to our registered clients. For registration to have been completed, clients must have set up a client and pet profile on our client system.
Only those pets registered for the Membership are eligible for the services and benefits included in the Membership. The services and benefits are non-transferable and cover services provided only by Maison Vets, not by any other veterinary provider (such as an out of hours service, a practice partner or a specialist referral practice).
Membership duration
The Membership is an annual agreement and begins on the date your first payment is made and runs on a 12 month rolling basis. The Membership will auto-renew each year unless cancelled.
Payment terms
Memberships fees are payable in advance on a monthly basis, repeated for a minimum of 12 months.
Payments are collected via recurring monthly card payments through the Blink payment platform. This is not a Direct Debit.
By signing up for the Membership, you authorise Maison Vets to charge your chosen payment method through Blink for ongoing monthly Membership payments until cancellation.
You must ensure you maintain a valid payment method at all times. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of Membership benefits.
How to cancel
The Membership auto-renews every 12 months (a Membership year) unless cancelled. Cancellation incurs no charges if at least one month’s notice before the end of a Membership year is given and paid.
You may cancel your Membership by one of the following methods:
– E-mailing info@maisonvets.com with a clear cancellation request; or
– Calling or WhatsApp with a clear cancellation request.
Effective date of cancellation
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the Membership year or otherwise (if specifically requested) at an earlier date subject to charges.
Charges on cancellation
If you cancel your Membership before the end of a Membership year, you will be liable for the full cost of any services received in that Membership year that have not yet been covered by your payments.
This means you will be charged an amount equal to all monthly Membership fees you have already paid plus the difference between those fees and the total value of Membership services used, as reasonably calculated by Maison Vets. Please note this may be more than the sum of 12 monthly payments as discounts shall not apply on early cancellation.
Maison Vets will provide you with an itemised summary of services rendered and charges due upon request following cancellation.
Changes to membership and fees
Maison Vets may adjust the benefits, terms, conditions, and fees associated with the Membership at any time.
We will give you at least 30 days’ notice of any fee change or significant change to Membership benefits.
Your continued payments after a change, constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you wish to cancel, the terms are as above.
Data privacy
We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By enrolling in a Membership, you consent to Maison Vets using your data to administer your Membership and process payments via Blink.
Liability and disclaimer
Maison Vets provides veterinary services in accordance with professional standards.
To the fullest extent permitted by Scots law, we exclude all liability for loss or damage arising from Membership participation, except liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
