Our Services

We offer a range of at-home veterinary services designed to support your pet’s health in a calm, familiar environment. From routine care to more complex needs, each visit is unhurried and tailored to your pet with all mediactions at cost.

New illness or injury

If you suspect your pet is unwell or injured, we can examine them as part of our comprehensive health check and take blood or tissue samples for further investigations if necessary. If we need to prescribe treatment, any medications will be provided at the appointment (at cost) or delivered to you afterwards. If more extensive diagnostics or treatment are needed, we may refer you to our trusted partner practice.

Managing chronic conditions

If your pet has a chronic condition and is on long term medication, it is important to monitor them and keep medication under review. We can carry out a comprehensive health check and, if necessary, take blood or urine samples to check that medications are still appropriate and dosages remain accurate. You can order medications with us at cost, and we can deliver them to you.

Injectable medications

We offer Cytopoint, Librela and Solensia injections for long-lasting relief for pets suffering from chronic conditions like allergies and osteoarthritis. We can administer the injections at home, saving your pet the stress of a monthly visit to a clinic.

Vaccinations and health checks

Our at-home vaccination service ensures your pets stay protected from common diseases, without the stress of a clinic visit. We offer puppy and kitten vaccination series (two visits), as well as advising on the appropriate booster protocol for ongoing protection. For dogs, we offer annual kennel cough vaccinations. We offer bi-annual health checks to help catch health issues early and keep on top of parasite prevention.

Flea and worm prevention

We carry out a health check and risk assessment to determine the most appropriate flea and worm (and other parasite) treatments for your pet’s lifestyle, ensuring they stay protected year-round. It is a legal requirement that we carry out a physical examination for first time prescriptions however, once we have prescribed medications (at cost), they can be refilled for up to 12 months.

Microchip

We can microchip your pets so they can be easily identified and reunited with you if they ever get lost. A microchip is a legal requirement for dogs and highly recommended for cats. Implanting a microchip is a simple, quick procedure that can be done in your home without fuss. If you’re a multi-pet household or have a cat with access to outdoors, we can advise on ways to potentially utilise microchips for your pet’s safety and well being.

De-matting and hygiene services:

Keeping on top of a furry coat can be tricky, especially for long-haired pets. Matting can lead to skin irritations, infections and general discomfort so we offer a de-matting and hygiene service to ensure that your pet’s skin and coat stay healthy and feel good. We may offer the option of sedation (depending on underlying health conditions) for pets who are overly anxious or sensitive so that they keep relaxed during the procedure.

Pet travel

If you plan on travelling with your pet, one of our Official Veterinarians can issue Animal Health Certificates (AHC) for international travel and export, ensuring all requirements are met for a smooth journey. The initial AHC requires a consultation as will any subsequent certificates. We also offer a rabies vaccination, if required.

Surgery

We offer a range of services at home, but some procedures are not suitable outside of a clinic setting. For planned surgeries (castrations, spays, dentals etc), we offer patient transfer to Hill City Vets, our partner clinic for consistent, high quality care whilst our own surgery is pending. On the rare occasion that there is an emergency appointment that we are unable to accommodate, we will refer to our partner practice and provide patient transfer where possible.

Senior care

We are passionate about proactive senior health care. We offer a pain clinic focussing on keeping geriatric patients comfortable and healthy into their golden years. We monitor signs of arthritis, pain and chronic conditions and offer tailored pain management strategies to improve quality of life. We offer blood and urine tests to screen for geriatric diseases.

Home euthanasia and end-of-life care

We know how important compassionate, calm end-of-life care is to our patients. We provide quality of life assessments and guidance to help you make an informed decision of when the time is right to honour your pet with a peaceful and dignified ending, surrounded by the humans they love. We work with an ethical cremation service and can arrange burial; we respect your wishes and will be with you each step.

We offer nail clipping, de-matting and hygiene services, anal gland expression, pet sitting medication visits, administration of medications including injectable medications, microchipping, weight clinic, diabetes monitoring and puppy/kitten training tips.
