We are an independent, family practice covering Edinburgh and surrounding areas. We provide high-quality care in the comfort of your own home, daycare or the office – whatever suits your needs.

We believe veterinary care should feel calm, personal and centred around you and your pet’s wellbeing — not rushed appointments or stressful clinic visits.

A patient-tailored approach

Every pet is different, and so is every client and home. That’s why our appointments are unhurried and tailored, giving us the time to truly get to know your pet, understand their lifestyle and address your concerns fully.

Seeing pets in their familiar environment allows for calmer behaviour and more accurate assessments.

Extra-long appointments

We offer unhurried appointments (up to 1 hour) so we can be thorough and you and your pet feel safe and relaxed in your own space.

Collaborative approach

We take time to listen and provide tailored options for informed decisions about your pet’s care. We build meaningful relationships for whole life care.

Medication at cost

Our focus is on patient-tailored care, not sales. We offer medications at cost so there’s no incentive to recommend unnecessary products.

Planned surgery

As some planned procedures need to be done in surgery, we offer patient transfer to our partner clinic for consistent, high quality care whilst our own surgery is pending.

Meet our team

Maison Vets is an independent, family practice launched by husband-and-wife team, Laura and Jon Clark, with exceptional quality clinical oversight by Veterinary Surgeon, Caitie Kelly.

Laura (and Pierre)

I’m co-founder and mummy to two small humans and twenty-one fur babies! A tea-Jenny, brass band geek and general dog botherer (with a life full of cats, I cross roads to meet good boys). An employment lawyer with a fire in my belly for building a work environment where our team feel truly valued.

Jon (and Pierre)

I’m also co-founder and dad to Maisie, Torran and the twenty-one fur babies; I firmly believe you can’t have favourite children. If I had to pick 3 essentials to take to a desert island with me, they would be our first-born Pierre, my electric guitar, and an espresso machine.

Clinical Director, Caitie (and Rory)

Veterinarian, pet parent and ashamed American expat. I’m passionate about providing low-stress, high-quality, compassionate care – and the best way to do that is with home visits! I believe great vet care should be personal and collaborative, and I take pride in building relationships with the pets and people in my care.
